So we had a really nice not too snowy(thank goodness) valentine's day weekend. On Friday night I got my hair highlighted especially for Valentine's Day ( hot pink highlights). It was very nice to be out of the house ALONE for a few hours......
On Saturday I went to a friends bridal shower (ALONE again!!!) and had a really nice time. When I got home we got the kids ready and went to Nakama for a family Valentine's day dinner..... The southside SUCKS in the snow, it's really nice to know that the city of Pittsburgh is doing a great job plowing all of the snow away..... Jordan really enjoyed herself, especially when the nice Waiter brought out a huge bowl of ice cream for her without asking if she could have it...... nice......
Then today we went to a superhero birthday party for one of Jordan's friends from school. Bob and Jack came also (a first for Bob) because we had people that came to look at the house at the same time, so it worked out well. The feedback from the potential buys is that she really likes the house and he is not feeling it as much, hey thanks for the feedback douche bags, unless you are putting in an offer, or giving me some advice on what i can do to get you to buy my house, i really don't care if you like my house or not, so when you are ready to make an offer get back to me. I cant even begin to express how much i dislike people that come waste my time looking at my house and then have nothing more to say than "they like it" well good for you, thank you for wasting my time.......
I would also like to comment about how quickly my house goes form "showing" quality to total disaster area. It literally takes less than 5 minutes for the house to become a total mess again, I am not really sure how this happens, but it just does. I was getting jacks bottles ready for tonight( i know he is 9MONTHS) and still waking up to eat but i cant even deal with it, and if shoving a bottle in his mouth shuts him up and lets me sleep I really don't care if he is 15 and still drinking from a bottle in the middle of the night. Right, so i was looking around the kitchen( while assembling and filling his bottles) and taking note of what a complete disaster the house is. pretty impressive, too bad making a mess isn't an Olympic sport because i am pretty sure that the mason family could be gold medal winners......
Anyway, back to the superhero birthday party.....they really ran those kids around, because I haven't heard a peep out of her yet and she has usually woken up at least once by now to tell me that he leg hurts ( her injury that only seems to bother her at night hmm.......)
We then got a new car seat for Jordan (a convertible one for up to 100lbs) and jack a new stroller ( a bright green one)....
OK so not such an exciting post, but i am really looking forward to getting back into a routine (and the gym) this week. Hopefully all of the weather people are lying and there will not be 3-6 more inches of snow mon. night into Tuesday.....
ok time to go Jack is crying (what a surprise.....)
