More snow..... REALLY......

OK come on...... I thought that it was a joke when i heard that we were getting another 3-6 inches of snow. I am in a serious state of denial when it comes to snow. I just kind of hear what they are saying on tv, and pretend like its not happening, and then act surprised when i leave the mall at 5:00pm and my car and parking lot are covered in snow.The roads were completely awful, but what else is new...... i think that i left at the exact moment that the snow was bad enough to cause people to drive 5 mph but there wants enough time yet for the plows to be out and making a difference (if they were even out at all). Let me say that if i ever doubted the purchase of our Land Rover, today made me 100% sure that we made the right decision in purchasing such a monster vehicle.

What else happened today? Well, Jordan had her first full day of pre school in over a week, but i am very thankful because she was supposed to have off today, but because the parents asked if we could have school the wonderful director and teachers at her pre school agreed to have school today. Jordan then had swim class, as she does every Monday afternoon, and I decided to join the Y. Now this is something that I have been putting off for a while because it isn't really so close to or house and its a lot more expensive than my current gym. However some of the following things were taken into consideration:

1. There is a locker room where I can actually shower if i choose to after working out, this didn't originally bother me at my gym, however now that Jack is getting older, its really hard to come home and shower with a screaming child and limited time to get ready, so i can now leave him at the child watch at the y while i shower, which is nice. Also, in this locker room is a suana which bob told me before i use should check to make sure that no one else is using by checking on craigs list for any creepy posts.....

2. I have numerous friends that work out there at different times of the day so there will always be someone to work out with if i so choose to.

3. they have some classes that seem like they would be nice to take.

4. i waited 10 minutes to use the cross trainer today at my gym and i got really angry that the gym has become more and more crowded over the last month. I really don't like that all of these people started coming during my time at the gym, and are actually sticking with it. At the if a machine is taken that i want to use, i can go do a lap or two on the track until the machine that i need becomes available.

5. there is an indoor as well as outdoor pool at the Y..... however if you know me, you know where i stand on public pools- that is a totally different post in itself.....

After swim we went to the mall with Jordan's friend Lucy and her mom (andrea) and baby sister (zoey). we were looking for snow suite things for the babies since they are now in bigger car seats and not enjoying jackets, however we apparently are int e wrong season, since you need to buy all of your winter clothing by November..... so i guess jack will have to wear his too small winter coat or no coat at all, and when the ladies at the supermarket give me dirty looks bc my baby isn't wearing a jacket i will let them know that they didn't have any the second week in February when i went to buy him one....... seriously if i wanted to buy him a bathing suite though to play in the snow in i wouldn't have a problem at all.....


Another exciting milestone for us (well more for Jordan) is that Lucy is sleeping over tonight, making it Jordan's first sleep over. The girls decided to take every single one of Jordan's stuffed animals out of their holder (http://www.booninc.com/products/OvalAnimalBag/802) best invention Ever BTW..... and put them in their two beds.....


I am exhausted, and as much as I would love to write more, i am going to go try to get myself to bed in the next 20 minutes or so...... but before I go why the hell are the Olympics still on? don't they have a curfew or something in Canada? go to sleep ice skaters, i dont want to watch you , i know that Conan isn't on anymore, but i would rather watch coco reruns than watch an Asian man with ball tights on skate around an ice rink.... ok really goodnight......
