The past few weeks

We haven’t really been up to much.




We went to the Children’s Museum with some of our friends, Jordan and Yasemin really liked the pink sand( better there then in my house), as well as playing with the huge light bright. Jordan also enjoyed the fish tank with all of the fish….





I picked some flowers from the garden and Jordan enjoyed smelling/ experimenting with one- I am sad to say that it didn’t make it to the vase and instead wound up in the trash.

I bought new sneakers for myself on Friday, and Jordan has already expressed her love for shoes, she refused to take them off, and had a fit when I removed them from her because she was falling all over the place.






We went to the zoo to see the baby elephants ( which weighed almost 300lbs. when they were born) here are some pictures form the petting zoo ( I had no idea that you were allowed in the pen with the animals, Jordan was too scared to go near them though) and of course with the sea lions ( Jordan favorite).

MI Trip

We are in Michigan visiting Bob's parents ( We came on Thursday and we are leaving tomorrow morning). We went to a petting zoo today at one of the local parks. Jordan really enjoyed seeing all of the animals and petting the ones that would come up to the gate. I really wish that they had some food or something to feed the animals so that they would come up closer to you, but they didn't so we found some grass to feed them instead...... I wonder if there are any petting zoos near us, I will have to look into that......

We are driving back tomorrow so that should be exciting.....

I almost forgot, I made some wooden letters for Jordan's room, for someone who is not very crafty, i think that they came out pretty well.....

So I am not sure where she learned how to do this, but Jordan started smelling flowers whenever she sees them......

Also I really enjoyed her outfit today, no idea why I just did......

We went to the mall today, and then to toys r us to get the makers that only color on the special paper that it comes with and not on the furniture, your clothes, floor, etc. They are a really cool invention, and Jordan is able to color anywhere without ruining everything in her path. The only bad part is that toys r us doesn't really carry a good variety of the different products, but I was able to find some different ones on ebay. We don't really have any plans for tomorrow, hopefully we can find something to do though.

Vacation

Bob had vacation this week so we went to visit my parents(really just my dad since my mom is still in the holy land), for a few days. While we were there, my (aunt) Harriet and Grandma Pearl came to visit two times, and I went into the city to see hairspray with Harriet ( it was awesome). Grandma Pealt bought Jordan her first tricycle, and she was a little bit scared of it first, but once she got the hang of it, she wouldn't get off of it. We had to hide it though because we got too tired of pushing her around on it. Danielle also stopped by a few times to see Jordan, and Jordan really enjoyed playing with her necklace. When we got home, Bob and I wen to the outlets on Friday, and got a few things. Oh yeah I almost forgot, Bob and I somehow found a random lonely wii on the shelve of target in Manalapan, we couldn't believe it, so we got it and had a lot of fun playing it. We still need to decide where to hook it up at home though.









Today, Bob and I worked outside and Jordan played a lot in the house because it was way too hot out...... Here are some pics of Jordan playing and my pretty flowers that I picked from my garden. We don't really have anything planned for tomorrow, but maybe i will pull some more stinky weeds.

4th of July Weekend

Friday the 4th

We went to my friends Maria, Greg, & Owen's house for a BBQ. We had a lovely time there, Maria has a really big family and i finally feel like i know who is who..... it only took a year but no big deal....... Anyway, Jordan had a lot of fun playing in the sandbox, she also felt that she should try to taste the sand since she was enjoying it so much, however she didn't really enjoy it, she literally took a huge handful of sand and put it in her mouth, it was kind of funny.....

Saturday the 5th

Today we had a normal morning and then when Jordan and I woke up from a nap, we somehow convinced Bob to go to the zoo for a few hours (around 3:30). It worked out pretty well because a lot of people were leaving when we got there, but it was so so hot....... Jordan really enjoyed herself though, she especially enjoyed the kangaroos and the petting zoo. Jordan also really liked the sea lions, I think that if she could have gotten into the water with them she would have.......

First Hair Cut

After noticing Jordan's hair was becoming more and more mullet like, we decided to take her to get her first haircut. We went to the mall to where i get my hair done on Thursday afternoon, and it was quite the adventure. Jordan didn't really want to sit down at all and cooperate( not that I expected her to), but she did get some hair cut off, we had to go rent a car cart from the mall for her to sit in so that she would sit still for a few seconds. When we got home, bob and i decide that some more hair needed to be cut off, so i had the privilege of trying to do that, we didn't really have scissors that we sharp enough to cut hair, so her hair is a little bit uneven in some spots I think ( I don't really think that you can notice if you are just looking at her quickly). See for yourself.......

Catching up- end of June

So so sorry for those of you who actually come to this site/ or care that I haven't posted anything in awhile.......

So the weekend after father's day, Rachel came out for the weekend, and we didn't really do too much, we went shopping ( got Jordan Jelly sandals) and took some fun pics though.....

Jordan was also enrolled in camp at the synagogue for the past four weeks ( three days a week), and that just ended, so hopefully i will have more time to do stuff now. You would think that having her in a camp three days a week would give me time to do stuff but by the time i dropped her off at 9:30 it seemed like it was already 12:30 and time to go pick her up.

The weekend after Rachel came to see us, we went to see her in West Chester for the weekend. My friend Loreen has a bunch of girls that I went to school with that were in my sorority. It was really nice to see everyone, and Jordan had fun playing with Payton (Loreen's daughter who is two months younger than Jordan). We also went with Rachel to house sit and they had a really nice little dog name Oscar that Jordan really enjoyed playing with. Here are some pictures from that.

When we got back to Pittsburgh Jordan tried to take a "real shower" she actually didn't hate it as much as we thought she would. I also bought her a dress that was little too small, but it was cute to take pictures in ti before i returned it. I also found some little pink high top chuck taylors, that I really love......
