Emergency Alert System

OK so I would like to just tell everyone how pointless and annoying the emergency alert system is in the Pittsburgh area . There is a thunderstorm warning and in the past 15 minutes they have broken into whatever you are watching (DVR or regular TV) at least 8 times to let me know that there is a thunderstorm warning and hail in the area. Not once has the warning changed at all, it has remained the same for the past hour. I really wish that they would just put something on the bottom of the screen or something. the only weather emergency that i feel is emergency system worthy weather is is a tornado or maybe a sever weather event causing people to have to evacuate their homes. emergency OK i am done now......

Father's Day Weekend

My parents came to visit this weekend, and we had a really nice weekend. We went to the new sushi buffet on Friday night for dinner, and just hung out most of the weekend. We had a really nice time. On Sunday morning we went to the Grand Concourse in Station Square for brunch- if you live in Pittsburgh and are ever in the mood for an amazing brunch you should try the Grand Concourse- it was so yummy.

Indian Food

We met Shaina and Trey at the mall this morning to play in the play area, and then Shaina suggested that we have Indian food for lunch. As we were leaving the mall we noticed that The Disney store was going out of business and having a huge sale so we went in, and i found Jordan a Mulan cup ( don't really care who is on it because it was less than $2.00) that has a straw so I got it for her, since she loves drinking from a straw when we are out to eat.

Up until now I have been scared to try Indian food ( mostly because of the smell), but I have to say it wasn't as terrible as I expected it and it actually was kind of good. Jordan really really liked it ( i have no idea what she was eating but she ate it so i guess that's good), I however am still burping it up, but it was yummy, and a fun new experience. A trip to the Pittsburgh Children’s Museum

This morning Jordan and I met our friends Shaina and her son Trey at the Children's museum. We haven been to the children's museum since Kennedy's first birthday last March when Jordan was only three months old. She really didn't care much about it last year, but today she had a great time and I am going to look into getting a membership so that we can go back more often.

They have a water play room, and Jordan really enjoyed that, she also really liked playing in the rice, and with the trains. Here are some pictures of Jordan and Trey having fun.....

First Day

Today was Jordan's first day in the one year old room at daycare- goodbye baby room.......While she was at school I bought a large baby pool ( not really its an 8ftx30in. blow up pool which is pretty small, but it does the job i guess......)Here are some pictures of her before daycare, and swimming in her ice cold pool yesterday afternoon.....
